IQ Control
Intelligent Management and Monitoring of Hospital Infrastructure

Challenges
The hospital environment presents enormous challenges in managing its infrastructure and equipment. The medical gas network is composed of several subsystems subject to failures that compromise patient safety.
It's impossible to manually monitor such a critical operation. Sudden increases in medical gas consumption, equipment breakdowns due to operations outside of factory recommendations, dynamic resizing of supply systems, and unnecessary or emergency maintenance are just a few examples of situations that can generate risks, such as:
- Risk to patients’ lives;
- Inefficiency and unnecessary expenses;
- Legal proceedings due to lack of inputs or interrupted procedures;
- Lack of operational documentation for inspections, audits and legal defenses;
- Difficulty in decision-making due to lack of historical data.
To solve this problem, Above-Net entered into an exclusive partnership with White Martins and launched QI Control, an intelligent IoT monitoring solution for hospital infrastructure.
IQ Control

QI Control enables the intelligent management of hospital infrastructure, providing information on the operational conditions of central stations and networks, correlating measurements and generating real-time alarms for adverse situations, such as failures or potential wear and tear on hospital operations.
Main Features
From its intuitive interface to its ability to integrate with any existing equipment or system, QI Control is designed to solve all the problems faced by hospital operations and maintenance staff.
Smart Rules and Failure Prediction
QI Control's intelligence allows you to create rules, alarms for maximum and minimum levels, increases and decreases in consumption, increases or decreases in the rate of change, and even calculated functions based on information collected in real time.
The combination and cross-referencing of this information makes QI Control unique, allowing intelligent monitoring and control of the operation.
Supervision Diagrams
QI Control has an online supervisory diagram configurator that allows you to configure monitoring elements superimposed on illustrations, isometric diagrams and even images of the site indicating the origin and immediate visualization of the measurement or attention to the problem detected by the system.
Trends and Condition Maintenance
QI Control analyzes and compares operational trends with normal standards and autonomously notifies those responsible, indicating critical actions to restore normal operating conditions.
Intelligent Document Repository
QI Control stores and monitors the expiration of all documentation for each monitored system or device in various formats. In addition to indexing and intelligently searching information, the platform allows viewing by location, timeline, or tables to increase efficiency in accessing information.
Alarms
Smart alarms send notifications via APP to maintenance teams informing them of a pre-calculated trend or condition, potentially anticipating a failure for appropriate intervention in the equipment.
This function aims to optimize maintenance activities, allowing greater infrastructure availability, reducing costs, and increasing the safety of patients and professionals.
Disconnection Monitoring
The platform monitors the connection status of all remote systems and equipment, ensuring accurate information is provided to the maintenance team. If the connection is lost, the responsible team receives a notification so they can take appropriate action.
Integration with Other Systems
QI Control allows integration with existing ERPs for advanced calculations such as average consumption per patient or with Command Center to share information about the equipment infrastructure and the hospital's medical gas network.
Autonomous Notifications
Unlike other systems, QI Control doesn't require human monitoring to detect alarms and adverse conditions. The authorized clinical engineering team receives real-time notifications on their cell phones or tablets via the app. If necessary, the system offers web access for detailed status monitoring.
Control and Notifications via APP
The QI Control app is practical and easy to use. The main screen displays active or recent alarms for all monitored locations in the hospital network.
Clicking on an alarm or device displays all alarms and parameters, listed in order of criticality. This gives technicians immediate access to information that could impact operations in the short term.
In addition to quantitative parameter information, the app offers real-time views of supervision diagrams, trend graphs, and a documentation repository for maintenance monitoring.

WEB control
QI Control offers dashboards for controlling and monitoring the entire hospital infrastructure.
Through an intuitive and user-friendly interface, the system displays real-time smart alarm panels on its home page, listed by priority. Alternatively, you can search for the network hospital or monitored equipment through a Google-style search or by location on a map.
By detailing any equipment, the system can monitor simple, cumulative parameters and even provide customized function calculations with their respective alarms and notifications.
In the graphs section, you can cross-reference historical information for any system parameter, export it to various formats, and even generate instant reports.

Benefits of IQ Control
Continuous intelligent monitoring with notifications allows you to anticipate problems, increasing operational reliability.
Setting intelligent alarms based on the conditions permitted by the manufacturers' specifications allows operation within ideal limits, avoiding damage, unexpected shutdowns and unnecessary maintenance.
The responsible clinical engineering or maintenance team receives autonomous and targeted notifications with information, readings, and an indication of the failure location. With access to documentation, the process is agile, centralized, and tracked.
Constant monitoring of hospital infrastructure allows maintenance to be performed based on the equipment's actual condition (CBM). Thus, less-used equipment that performs well has its maintenance scheduled for a longer period, while equipment that exhibits anomalies before periodic inspections will have its maintenance scheduled earlier. The result is a reduction in unnecessary maintenance and operating costs.
QI Control's flexibility allows for the capture of information from any device, communication protocol, or sensor, regardless of the parameter type, enabling the complete optimization of information in a structured format. Clinical engineering can have instant access to operationally critical data.
QI Control monitors reserve oxygen and medical air centers. In addition to alerting you when the centers are in use, the system calculates the necessary sizing based on average consumption over the past few months, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Unlike any other monitoring system, QI Control can autonomously notify the maintenance team 24/7 without human intervention or the need to monitor dashboards. QI Control takes action if there's even a slight operational degradation in the equipment or system.
Based on the reliable data collected by QI Control, decision-making can be based on the analysis of historical operational data.
The data collected by QI Control is structured, contributing to obtaining quality certifications and consolidating the 100% digital hospital.
QI Control can store documents from monitored facilities or equipment, making them available to the maintenance team via app or web access. Plans, manuals, diagrams, structural calculations, photos, certifications, and inspections (with expiration notices) are just some of the possible storage options.
