The AN800's approach is simple and functional: an 8-inch form factor, an efficient processor capable of running Android 7.1, capacitive touch technology, a shielded and submersible case, and modular features that don't overburden the operating platform or increase the final cost of the device.

Regarding dimensions, the AN800 measures 226 mm x 62 mm x 19 mm, meaning it's only slightly larger and slightly thicker than other consumer tablets in this class. It weighs only 630 g.

With an 8-inch diagonal screen, 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, and a 400-nit backlight, the AN800 is ideal for high-brightness outdoor applications, enabling readability even in environments with direct sunlight.

It features a 2GHz Octa-Core Cortex processor for the Android version. It has a removable 3.7V, 8000 mAh battery providing an average battery life of 12 hours of continuous use.

A micro-SD card slot allows for extra storage and data transfer , standard RAM of 4 GB and 64 GB of storage, expandable up to 128 GB.

Standard USB port, OTG support for flash drive, 100MB Ethernet audio port, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 communications are still available.

Optionally, the AN800 can be equipped with a Motorola/Honeywell 2D barcode reader, an LF RFID reader, NFC (HF) or even UHF (up to 6m).
