Above-Net Solution
Bridge Manager is a cellular communication management solution between the Control Center (CCO) and remote equipment. It acts as a secure and stable bridge through which the CCO can access the PLC at the endpoint transparently, regardless of dynamic IP addresses and other cellular network peculiarities, ensuring the security of the data transmitted. Above-Net installed high-performance industrial cellular routers at each point, sized and configured to meet the various network scenarios and protocols existing in the operation. These devices, combined with Bridge Manager, guaranteed communication with the remote points, with an SLA exceeding 95%, across the more than 100 points the client wished to monitor.
Above-Net – Beyond the Basics
In addition to the Bridge Manager solution, we also provide the customer with Bridge Meter Above-Net Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and predictive analytics solution . Bridge Meter adds intelligence and data analysis to Bridge Manager. Through direct connection to the PLC, or via our own hardware, we can receive data from sensors, machines, or motors in the field, analyze this data based on customer configurations and needs, and deliver a monitoring dashboard, intelligent alarm notifications, and motor failure predictability with day-level accuracy.
Expanding monitoring
In addition to enabling transparent and secure communication between the CCO and the PLCs in the field, and adding intelligence and predictive analysis to the collected data, the Bridge Meter also prepared the client to expand monitoring as soon as desired.
For example, it's possible to monitor the filter screens inside wastewater treatment plants. The Bridge Meter can remotely access the screen operation, motor parameters, number of actuations, and any other relevant information.
Human error in the operation of these machines can lead to enormous losses. The Bridge Meter minimizes the need for local supervision and prevents human error in the process, in addition to ensuring optimal operational performance.
