The Winmate® E500RM8 is a versatile, lightweight and rugged device that provides advanced data collection. E500RM8 has built-in NFC reader, 1D/2D barcode scanner capable of scanning barcodes both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, it has a 2MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera.
It has an option equipped with the Smart Card Reader, ergonomic and robust for a wide range of applications where information security is a priority: medical identification, e-government and e-commerce applications, digital signage and identification. The device securely inserts sensitive ID card data into the system and guarantees the security and confidentiality of the information.
In areas where the content of work varies according to the degree of confidentiality, the importance of information security arises. Fingerprints taken using the handheld device provide access only to authorized personnel, significantly improving the information management system in the field.
Featuring a user-replaceable battery design with simple locking system, the E500 handheld can support continuous operation in the field without downtime. The replaceable battery also has a high capacity at 3900mAh for long-time use.
Sealed to IP65, the E500 handheld is built to withstand harsh environments, protected from water and dust. Compliant with MIL-STD-810G, it can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C (-4F to 140F) and withstand shock, vibration, and drops from 4 feet.
