The Robustel LG5100 is an industrial edge computing gateway with an embedded LoRaWAN server, designed to connect wireless sensors in industrial IoT, smart cities, environmental monitoring, building automation and critical infrastructure.
networks 4G/3G/2G via dual-SIM and external antennas, the LG5100 combines robust connectivity with local processing capabilities through the Debian 11 (Bullseye) operating system, plus RobustOS Pro — which allows the installation of thousands of packages and the use of Docker for custom containers in Python, Node.js, C/C++, Java, among other languages.
Main Features
Its integrated LoRaWAN radio offers 8 simultaneous channels, allowing for the reliable reception of thousands of messages per day. This makes the LG5100 ideal for projects that demand massive connectivity with LoRaWAN sensors, such as precision agriculture, remote utility metering, waste management, water monitoring, and more.
The hardware is industrial-grade, featuring a 792 MHz ARM Cortex-A7 CPU, 512 MB of DDR3 RAM , and 8 GB of eMMC, offering an excellent balance between performance and energy efficiency. It also includes two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports with PoE-PD support, two configurable serial interfaces (RS-232/RS-485), two digital inputs (DI), two digital outputs (DO) , and one USB host port. The flexible 9-60 V DC with reverse polarity protection expands its field applicability.
In terms of security and connectivity, the LG5100 offers features such as VPNs (IPsec, OpenVPN, GRE, etc.), firewall with IP/MAC/domain filtering, DMZ, anti-DoS protection, and industrial protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP with MQTT bridge, ensuring direct integration with SCADA systems, PLCs, and sensors.
Remote management of the LG5100 is done securely and efficiently through Bridgemanager 's Above-Net, which allows continuous monitoring, device provisioning, carrier control, intelligent alerts, and customized dashboards, all via a web interface.
Furthermore, the gateway is compatible with Bridgemeter's intelligent solution Above-Net for collecting, normalizing, and analyzing industrial data in real time. This allows the LG5100 to be transformed into a powerful tool for continuous monitoring of operational efficiency, losses, process deviations, and environmental indicators.
mounting DIN rail, wall or benchtop, support for extreme temperatures (-40 °C to +70 °C) architectures decentralized IoT focused on performance, integration and field automation.
