Designed for industrial environments and embedded applications, the R5020 offers 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports(configurable as 1 WAN + 3 LAN or 4 LAN), with optional PoE-PD support on ETH0 and 1 kV magnetic isolation.

Includes dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) in AP or Client mode, with up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz channel and 300 Mbpson the 2.4 GHz channel, plus GPS/GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo) via cellular antenna multiplexing.
It supports automatic failover between Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and cellular network connections with dual-SIM and four SMA-K cellular antennas, ensuring continuous availability in critical applications. For industrial protocols, it has one configurable RS-232 and one RS-485 port, as well as one optically isolated DI and one DO, with support for Modbus RTU/TCP via MQTT bridge and TCP/UDP serial control.
In terms of security and connectivity, the R5020 offers IPsec, OpenVPN, DMVPN, GRE, L2TP, and PPTP VPNs, a firewall with DMZ, IP/MAC/domain filtering, anti-DoS protection, port mapping, and AES/TKIP/WEP64 encryption.
Remote management is performed by Bridgemanager , with customizable dashboards, intelligent alerts, connectivity monitoring, and centralized device control. In addition, the R5020 is compatible with Bridgemeter, Above-Net's solution for real-time operational data analysis and normalization, ideal for applications in intelligent transportation, digital retail, building automation, connected cities, and operational efficiency.
Built for harsh environments, it features an IP30 metal housing, a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, a 12 to 36 V DC with reverse polarity and surge protection, a typical idle power consumption of ~3 W (12 V) and a maximum of ~11 W, a weight of ≈ 475 g, and compact dimensions for wall, table, or DIN rail mounting.
